Im not even going to attempt to catch up.

So, I was rereading OOtP, and I realized, while Harry has a "people-saving-thing" Hermione has a "Harry-saving-thing". I mean, how many times did she save him in the DoM alone? And Ive been thinkgin about all the separate times in the others books, and its quite impressive really, how in tune she is to Harry being in danger or being upset and how she shows nearly nil amount of intuition when it comes to everyone else (and its not even because Harry is the one thats always in danger -- shes Ginnys best girl mate and yet she hadnt a clue something was up in CoS).

Those two, theyre going to be great together.

I'm having one of those days where I'm more optimistic than ever about our ship. I mean, I was just over at Portkey in the debating section and there was this H/G-R/Hr shipper who said that Harry doesn't need a justification for why he'll fall for Ginny. If he's in love, he's in love. How can he not have to justify it??? If we don't even know why Harry fancies her, then why should we have any emotional investment in it? For JKR to pair Harry with any other girl than Hermione, she needs to show us why Harry would ever choose anybody else over Hermione. I honestly tried - several times - to look at the shipping issue objectively and imagine Harry with somebody other than Hermione. I couldn't find one single reason. Not one. So unless JKR will show me in HBP and book seven how Harry respects, trusts and admires Ginny or Luna the way he does Hermione, I won't give a tiny rats ass about H/G or H/L if they'll ever get together.

A WB rep told us this morning that the rumor about Harry kissing Cho in the Goblet of Fire film (instigated by a German magazine article) is incorrect. The same goes for the old rumor about Hermione kissing Krum. These 14-year-old characters will keep their puckers to themselves for now.

Sometimes I try really hard to get some people's mind. I just can't get it, can't believe it. Of course, if there's no reason or basis for said ship, how come there's an explanation or justification?!

About the kissing rumours being debunked, I'm so happy they finally denied that crap. But what I wouldn't like at all is to watch GoF and not see Hermione kissing Harry on the cheek. HEY, it's CANON! Don't you forget, WB!

I was just gonna bring that over from TLC. Nora beat me to it I always thought the rumours were rubbish anyways. But they'd better include the H/Hr end kiss in the movie or i will be mucho annoyed. Not only is it canon, it's harry's first kiss. That's a huge deal and not including it would be scandalous.

i have tried to see what the other ships like just because well, i'm a psyc major. we try to understand people, that's what psychology is. i can see why they would want ginny and harry, in a way. they think they have this bond now because they were both possessed by voldemort or something, but other than that, they don't talk. like ever. they see ginny in the common room and such but ginny and harry have never sat down and had a talk. i mean ginny didn't get harry out of that room, hermione did. you'd at least have to say some reason why you think they'd get together. that's like us saying that we like harry and hermione because their names sound good together. yeah that's SO not why, although that is a plus.

oh god...the numbered thing. it was at least a year and a half ago when us and the sidekicks got in this battle of sorts. we used to not get along at all and we posting just so we could be ahead of the other one. it was silly and trite, but we need it and now there's no numbers. i like it a lot better this way. we don't need a number, we just talk about what we want and vice versa.

i didn't believe that kissing rumour at all. when they're foreign newspaper and its still 8 months or so until the movie comes out, i won't believe anything they say.
