Thanks for the article. HP is a billion dollar franchise. I don't think it'll ever really go away. Yes it's over but Jo can choose to expand in any way she wants to.

Christmas is coming to Universal's Harry Potter park

Despite seven years of Hogwarts students giving off vibes that it’s uncool to stay at school during Christmas break, every Harry Potter fan knows that the wintry months are, in fact, the best time of year at the castle.

To that end, Universal Orlando will finally introduce a new Christmas experience for the first time at its wildly popular Wizarding World of Harry Potter. The celebration will run from Nov. 18, 2017, through Jan. 6, 2018.

The experience will deck out both Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley, wrapping the theme park in a holiday transformation that includes state-of-the-art projection mapping and festive décor. Similarly, the stores at the Potter-themed park will alter their inventories with unique holiday food, and a new slate of entertainment will descend upon the park, presumably so cheery in nature that it would warm the heart of even the grubbliest of planks.

Watch the teaser video above.

Thanks Jen for posting here.

I haven't even been to any of the HP attractions so I'm just sitting here being in awe of everything.

I assume when it's the holidays over there, it's always full so I'd prefer to go during off-peak season. If it's already expensive for you, then it's more for me cause I'd have to spend on airfare, hotel + HP.

Thanks Jen! So much books to buy. Although my priority is the FBAWTFT script book.

I'm a library person too. Why buy something you're not sure about. Jo's books are the only thing I actually put money out for first.

As part of the upcoming 20th anniversary celebrations for the 1997 release of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, Scholastic, Bloomsbury, and Pottermore got together to create the first ever Wizarding World Book Club. In it, starting this June, J.K Rowling's official site will delve through all seven Harry Potter books one chapter at a time.

Quote:
The Wizarding World Book Club kicks off in June, and to take part you just need to read (or re-read) a Harry Potter book each month – or more, as the books get longer. You can then join in a conversation about it on Twitter, or simply check Pottermore to learn more about each story.

Whether you’re a newcomer, or have read the books a thousand times over, the Wizarding World Book Club is the place for everyone to join the discussion on each of the seven Harry Potter stories.

There will be many ways to participate too. Each week, a new theme from the Harry Potter stories will be discussed over on Pottermore’s brand new Wizarding World Book Club Twitter account, @WWBookClub.
