True although I was expecting them to dress up a bit like the whole suit & tie. But perhaps the dress code for that event was smart casual.

OMG ugh.
 Men do the bare minimum and get praised for it (especially white men) but for POC, we have to make extra effort or have 6 pack abs and be super sexy and beautiful just for Hollywood to notice us.  __________________

For sure.. Plus I have see some director or creator always praised to white actors/actresses more than PoC.. I was like..
 Also, I hate how they always want to have more diversity, but yet, you barely use them to give them their own plot or storyline instead put them w/ white actor or actress as couple?!?!??! __________________

Yes for real.. I mean, I don't want to sound petty, but I saw Ryan Murphy praise most of white actor/actresses even tho I did watch 911 spin-off, he had one gay actor, Black tran actor and M/M ship on the show, but yet, he didn't gave them enough of storyline or plots when he mainly gave to white actors..
Honestly, can directors/creators/writers need stop being hypocrite for saying that they would do more diversity and same-sex couples, but barely to show that on the show or movies on same-sex and PoC too?!?!?!? I was like..  __________________
