That's true. It was a shock. I mean I was sad about Cedric & Sirius' deaths but Fred's was definitely the most shocking. I thought all the Weasley kids would live by the time the book ends.

Weasleys are too many for all of them to say alive after the war
..Rowling wanted to make it more realistic I understand but it broke our heart and hers too. She was so sad while writing his death she said once. Others Weasleys could have died too Arthur, Ron, Bill and Ginny. They were so close but were survived by a miracle aka Harry |

It was definitely a surprise that Fred died, but the twins were one of my least favorite Weasleys. I liked Percy even less, but Fred and George weren't too far behind. I was still sad he died, and since Frangie is my head-canon, it upsets me that he never met his daughter.

Yeah, that would really be tough for the kids, especially Arthur's death. I absolutely adore him and I'm sure some of his grandchildren would as well.

the twins are my fav of the weaslys (ron being next). so i was heartbroken to see fred die. i dont want to imagine anyone from this family ever dying. they are the best

Yeah, the twins are the best. I thought the rest of the Weasleys were too serious (except for Ron, Arthur & Molly).
