I've added you. Thank you, it was fun to make!
So true! I mean, the twins also accepted him as part of the family right away, and stood by his side (like in CoS where they joked about Harry being the heir of Slytherin without actually believing it). They have this wonderful family vibe to them. You just have to feel welcome when you enter their house. Poor them for having to be confronted with rude people so often. __________________

I'm so happy Harry ended up marrying Ginny in the end, because he truly became part of the Weasley family that way.

I think Harry became a member of the Weasley family long before he and Ginny got together. And even if he and Ginny never became a couple, Arthur and Molly would still consider him as a son, and the Weasley boys as their brother. The Harry/Ginny made it official but even without it, he was a member of the Weasley family.

I added you.
And I agree with both of you. Ginny made it official, which is something I absolutely love. But indeed it seems like he's always been part of their family. Same with Hermione. I love it when families are so open and welcoming, but it fits to their entire behaviour. Also, I love how they invited both, Harry and Hermione, to the Quidditch World Cup and that Mr. Weasley made sure they all got tickets. __________________

Who are your favorite Weasleys?
Mine are definitely Ron & Ginny, without a doubt. I wish we got to see more bonding between them. I wonder what that last year before Ron started Hogwarts was like. Sure they had figured out Ron was the same age as Harry and they'd be going to Hogwarts the same year. But would Harry be the focus of their talks? I doubt it. It's a really bittersweet thing to think about, especially when it comes to Ginny. I've actually always wanted to write an essay on why I love Ron so much, but I feel like a complete idiot doing so. Aren't essays meant to be homework assignments? Here's a drawing of the Weasleys I found. Last edited by Bec =); 02-25-2014 at 04:50 PM |

This picture is so perfect, thank you so much for sharing!
I think I love them all (well, don't know much about Bill and Charlie, but the others). I think my favourites are of course Ron and Ginny, because both are such adoring characters. Ginny is smart and very open minded. I mean, so many were rude to Luna and Neville, and she befriended both, even though she was so popular (not many popular kids bother to even look at the non-popular ones). Ron is just cute, and I think he deserves so much more love instead of hate. I also really love Fred and George (and firmyl deny what happened to the first ). They're funny and I love their sass! __________________

It's hard to pick a favorite Weasley but Ron is mine for obvious reasons. I like the twins too because they're full of laughter and fun. I also love Molly/Arthur, I think they balance each other out. I hope we did find out more about Bill & Charlie, heck even Percy. I am glad though that he reconciled with his family in the end.

It's true that we know so little for Charlie, Bill or Percy. My second favourite after Ron of course, must be Ginny. I'm talking about dynamic book!Ginny not that pathetic version of her in the movies. I love the twins but they teased Ron too much and i must punish them for that
Molly/Arthur are like the most wonderful couple and the most caring parents. They found true happiness without money and that says a lot about their love and as individual characters. |

It makes me so happy to see so many Ron lovers! He deserves it. Also, I have to say another thing I love about them is that they're all so entirely different from each other:
Arthur is a bit geeky but also calmer, can get strict, too, though. Molly has a high temper, but even when she gets mad at the kids and even Arthur, it's clear she loves them all so deeply and can also be sweet. Bill is the cool and smart one. Charlie is the Quidditch pro with a dangerous job. Percy is the good boy who follows the rules strictly and wants/wanted a career. Fred and George aren't so ambitious, fun is important for them, but they're also very loyal. Ron is very insecure, but very brave, too, and doesn't hesitate a second to defend the ones he loves, no matter what he has to do for it. Ginny is the only girl, she's a vibrant, strong character and liked by many people, but also very open minded to everyone around her, and very passionate, too. They're all unique characters, and that makes the whole family fascinating to me. __________________

I don't mind that the twins tease Ron. The youngest (in this cast the youngest son) always get teased by the eldest. I bet if Charlie & Bill were home all the time, they'd tease Ron and both the twins too.
I think it's easy to pick Ron & Ginny as favorites since there was more story told about them as compared to the others. __________________

Absolutely, I bet Bill and Charlie were that way, too. I think there was even some teasing by them in GoF. The twins provide a lot of humour in the books and their sassy comments always come so fitting. I just love those two.

I'm still upset Fred died!
He was my favorite Weasley after Ron & Ginny. |

I absolutely agree!
I also have to say I like Percy. He behaved like an idiot at times, but he eventually realised how much his family mattered. And he tried to do what he believed was right. __________________
