I also loved that moment too Lara. :lol: It is always fun to see Jack get under Tru`s skin, which i think is the best way for Jason to inject some humor to the show.

I seriously start laughing with some of Jack's lines! Jason does a great job bringing humor to Jack. I'm like, "Why I am laughing? But wait! That was absurdly hilarious!" All that amazing banter would've definitely led to a smooch at some point! ;)

In the script that I have of "The Getaway" episode, it literally says:
TRU: Wish someone would've told me. Then I wouldn't have gotten up so early.
JACK: Then we couldn't have spent this quality time together. (etc. etc.)

But it doesn't give instruction on how to say the lines. I thought it would say JACK (flirty) followed by line, but it doesn't. One of my screenwriting books says to use parentheticals for character dialogue sparingly. I mean, it makes sense. So, in other words, it was probably Jason's decision to say that line in a flirty sorta way. Just an observation I made after reading my script and re-watching that teaser.

I`ve just got through reading your friend Sonya`s Halloween fic and i have to say that i love it. She did a great job of capturing the angst and tension between Tru and Jack in it. :clap: Thanks for sharing it with us Lara. :hug: Hopefully we`ll get some Track holiday fics soon.

Thanks for reading, Rod! It's one of my favorites that she's written so far. I've read it so many times. LOVE it. Plus, they are some really subtle Community references in it, even if she didn't realize it! :lol:

I will try to write a holiday fic. Was thinking of doing a multi-fandom multi-pairing one with all of my favorite ships from both Tru Calling and Community, but it depends on how much time I have. Fun thought, though. ;)

But I kinda wanna focus on my scripts during my Winter Break. I'd like to keep working on my feature (cuz we don't finish it in class since it's only Beginning Screenwriting) and I have 3 TV specs in various stages of progress. Plus, with Medium's cancellation, I'm kinda screwed right now.
