Karaoke Beatles Style
Well, seeing as this seemed like a popular topic on the 'Most Meaningful Song' thread, I thought maybe I'd start up a whole thread.
So, what Beatles' songs would be good for karaoke. And what songs would each Beatle sing if they were at a karaoke bar? __________________

Just listing down the things we've already considered: Hey Jude Love Me Do I Wanna Hold Your Hand Ob La Di... All Together Now You Never Give Me Your Money I Am the Walrus I the last one, by the way. It might sound good even when you're drunk. __________________

Heee...
Hm. Which song would each Beatle sing? One of their own, I'm thinking. Paul would sing "Yesterday", and he'd be drunk while doing it and would break down and cry in the middle. Ringo would sing "Yellow Submarine" and try to get everyone to sing along with him. Depending on whether Yoko was there, John would either pull her up on stage and do a duet of "Imagine"...or he'd pick a really early song like "Roll Over Beethoven" and play air guitar in the middle of it. George would probably not really want to do karaoke. Actually, he'd probably pick a Dylan song or something. __________________

Nice suggestions
Hm. Let's see. I'm going to take the lads c. '64 and place them in a Karaoke Bar c. '04, so here we go: John - Salt Water.x.Julian Lennon just because I think that'd be rad. Paul - I Honestly Love You.x.Olivia Newton John George - Blowin' In The Wind.x.Bob Dylan (Dylan would definitely be a George choice) Ringo - I Was Made For Loving You.x.Kiss __________________

Got to be realistic about the effect she had on John, though... Hm. I wonder what Yoko would sing for karaoke? __________________

Or something that's a total let-down that it depresses everybody else and then nobody wants to sing anymore. Ever heard of that song that goes, "Jonie, Jonie, please don't cry?" or "Tell Laura I love her?" where the guys supposed to be dying while he's saying the words?

Oh, I love 'Tell Laura I Love Her'. But yeah it's definitely a sad song.
Ohh, you know what? I think it'd be funny if she did 'Personal Jesus' by Depeche Mode. (Because I'm listening to the Johnny Cash version at the moment.) __________________
