I heard about these on the radio this morning, and I had to share!

Converse has a Chuck Taylor-style shoe with artwork by John Lennon. It's called the "John Lennon Peace Chuck." It has John artwork on the side, along with John's signature, and then on the front of the shoe it has lyrics from Imagine. THey are about $20 more expensive than regular Converse, but they are pretty darn cool.

Andie just tell your mum that if you don't have them...you'll die! Haha. I have black hi-tops and black low-tops. But I don't think shoes that colour would be safe for me. I'd just buy them and stick them in a glass cabinet. :lol:

The color of the shoes bums me out, too. I have never owned a pair that color... I have dark purple ones that get really dirty, so beige is just asking for trouble.

But... I'll probably get them anyway. I just can't resist.

My luck! I have an aunt (or something) who's coming from the States at the end of the month. I'm not really one for asking unashamedly, so ILVtheFAB4, can you tell me how much they cost? I'd probably have her buy them for me anyway, no matter how much the cost, but I'd be putting it in a glass cabinet, too. :) I have 2 black hi-tops, a red one with a black design, and blue, white and black low-tops. They're pretty much all I wear, so... :)

I have been obsessed with Converse since I was 12, and now I'm 23! And on converse.com, they are going to start producing ones that you design yourself. I think it starts in November. I will be ALL over that.

$60?!! :eek: :thud: Nope, that really wouldn't be good to ask for, even from relatives. Especially from relatives. I'll just settle for a stupid Barnes & Noble something (that I can get here for 50 times less) or another stupid shirt that I can't wear to school because it's blazing red and says "America Home of the Brave" on the front. Not that I don't like America, but you know. :rolleyes:

I don't think 60$ is expensive for shoes. But then again, maybe that's because I live in Australia. :shrug:
