Concert for George
 

Hey, the DVD set for the Concert for George came out a little whil ago, and my friend got it, and has lent it to me. I've been watching it a lot, and I think it's amazing!! Has anyone else seen it? Was...by any chance....anyone...there? If you've seen it, what do you think of it?

My friend told me she'd lend it to me but she's a little unreliable so she hasn't brought it to school, yet. I've heard that it is amazing though. I might just have to buy it. [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img]

I've seen it like 4 times, it was on PBS. I love it! It's very amazing. Gah, I [img]smilies/love.gif[/img] George. All of his songs were beautiful. It was awesome to see Eric, Billie, Tom, Dhani, Ravi Shankar, everyone up there singing our George's songs. [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img]

[img]smilies/lol.gif[/img] Dhani looks so much like his dad it's kinda scary. But he's so adorable. [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img] I loved how in the concert Olivia comented to Paul that "With Dhani on the stage, it looks like George has stayed young and the rest of us have gotten old."

I saw the thing on PBS a little while ago, but it's actually not the whole concert. First of all, it's not in order, and second, it's a little shorter and interrupted with the interviews. Which isn't bad, I'm just saying, it's also on the DVD but it's the "Theatrical Version" which for some reason cracks me up.

And wow [img]smilies/eek.gif[/img] Ravi's daughter is beyond amazing on the sitar.

Dhani is really good-looking. [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img] Ah, it's the lovely Harrison gene pool.

Yeah, he's cute in a "awwwww" (adorable) way, but also cute in a [img]smilies/drool.gif[/img] way. [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img]

And now that I'm getting used to what he looks like, he doesn't look quite as much like George now. More like a mix of George and Olivia...fancy that!

Welcome to the board! Well, I don't know that song but a 'Wah wah' is a type of effects pedal for a guitar. Maybe that's the reference.
