Season 12 is so bad and abrupt and unnecessary. S11 was the perfect ending.

Love Spuffy - I was shipping them from S2 lol. When she comes down the stairs in After Life... that look he gives her...*swoon* S11 was perfect - even S12 couldn't ruin the Spuffy ship because they still love each other romantically and it's obvious they will get back together eventually <3 I was relieved Joss didn't pair either with anyone else as the series ended. (Probably knew it would be unwise to piss off so many S/B shippers.)

I started shipping Spuffy after Something Blue aired but had always enjoyed their scenes on the show.

Spuffy is the biggest ship in the fandom.

So you both might be right about Joss seeing that pissing us off would be bad.

We came a long way!



I find it hilarious even in the Comics people see Spike as Buffy's boyfriend.

She was still denying it.

I think I started shipping them at the end of Fool For Love. That porch scene hooked me.

I remember that moment being when I knew that Spike was in love not just obsessed.

Yeah in the dream he tells her he loves her but we don't see he has real feelings for her until all his anger goes away seeing Buffy in tears.

Then all he wants to do is comfort her. I felt like the show was finally taking Spuffy seriously.

Ok so lets talk about a few things here. First off, they shouldn’t be allowed to be this cute. Seriously. Get out of my face I can’t even deal.

Secondly, how sad is it that after all these years and so much growth, Buffy’s first reaction is to wonder if history has repeated itself. Of course it’s a legitimate fear since this is the second time she’s been with an ensouled vampire, and the first time didn’t go that great.

I’m happy they’re dealing with past relationship issues this season. But it is one of those topics that cut deep since Buffy’s been through so much heartache and abuse in that area.

The fact that she lets him comfort him there is so huge. I think that's when I knew Spike's feelings didn't strictly go one way. There was something there on Buffy's end too. And you're right about that moment showing that his feelings went deeper than just a vamp fixation.

Plus SMG and JM knocked that scene out of the park acting wise. So much said without words.

Yeah, exactly. It makes sense that it's a legitimate fear.

Buffy was obsessed with Spike having feelings for her.

If he didn't have a chance then why did it bother her so much?

B/C deep down she knew he did & that she felt something for Spike too.



I did save this.

Buffy not only wanted it to be Spike she slept with so he would be the father of her baby when she blacked out but also when he wasn't wanted him to run away with her to raise the baby when she thought she was pregnant.

Then when she plans to get an abortion out of everybody it's Spike Buffy wants with her.

Hello! How much more endgame can you get really?

The Comics give us some great Spuffy material/moments but overall I don't consider them Canon b/c I've read better buildup ect. in fanfic over the years than how it was written in the Comics.
