That or a really good judge of character at least when it came to Spike.

I love how she was never afraid of him and you can tell Spike respected her after she stood up to protect Buffy the first time they met.

I'm glad she went on living even without him.

I just wouldn't like it if they had died together then.

It wouldn't feel right for their story.
