Enjoy Giles that episode because his character changes in S7. Many referred to him as PodGiles.
I know I should go to bed since I have to get up at 9 and it's already 5 minutes til 3 but my internet connection has been wonky this weekend and I have so many pics to gather for my shipper book. Right now I'm naming the ships people shipped before the invention of tv. Gods. Historical figures. Fairytales. Biblical people. Classic novel characters. __________________

Giles was written that way for a reason but fans figured it out.
Joss changed it. I wish he hadn't. Like I wish he hadn't wanted fans to think Spike wanted chip out. There still are fans to this day that think that he wanted that and the demon gave him the soul instead. There is actual clear dialogue from Spike to Buffy that he got it for her. Spike: The chip they did to me. The soul I got on my own for you.  __________________
