I think I would be more obsessed with GG (I can obsess over things I hate, very versatile) if the fandom agreed with my opinions. I hate Luke but he is the most universally loved character in the fandom. While the male I love the most (Christopher) is the universally fandom hated. They even call Christopher a ****boy which I don't understand at all. He wasn't sexist or angry or manipulative or old fashioned or any of the other kinds of behavior that leads to that title. He was hot and smart and funny and talked about his feelings. Luke is the one who literally yelled at children and the elderly and never wanted to do anything because he was a 30 something going on 80 something.

I'm doing better than Kat in the final minutes of CI.
Actually, no. She may have lost her reputation, been publicly humiliated, lost the love of her love who was also her best friend and stepbrother, most likely been kicked out of school, probably had bank account halted and trust fund threatened on the condition she go to rehab or grovel at the feet of the people she'd wronged but she still looked hotter than I'll ever be and at 17 could easily start fresh. __________________

I think it was just because networks are very money oriented. Studio heads cancel critically acclaimed shows all the time when they think it's not going to turn a big profit but will keep dumb shows on if they have high viewership. __________________

I'm torn between being disappointed the reboot was cancelled and relieved.
Cruel intentions is my favorite movie of all time and some times good things shouldn't be messed with  __________________

When I first heard about the pilot I never thought it would get picked up so I wasn't surprised when it was cancelled. I also agree, considering how risque and hardcore CI was, I just couldn't see it on regular TV like NBC
 It would need to be on a cable channel or movie channel like HBO, Starz, etc. to get the true effect IMO. I was interested in the pilot to see where Kathryn ended up but that's about it. I don't think it would of worked well as a TV series in the long run anyway. |
