She grabs a stake from the table. Buffy stops and looks back. Kendra
goes over to her and holds up the twisted but very sharp stake.
Kendra: In case de curse does not succeed, dis is my lucky stake. I
have killed many vampires wit it. I call it Mr. Pointy.
Buffy: You named your stake?
Kendra: (a bit embarrassed) Yes.
Buffy: (smiles) Remind me to get you a stuffed animal.

Buffy talked a big game in the beginning about the burden of slayerdom but when it came to sharing the title she didn’t want to :lmao:

And then the show ended with them activating all the potential slayers on her command. Character growth :love:

Buffy did kind of deserve that gut punch after being so cocky, and going on and on about being the only slayer in the world lol.

Looking at it from your POV about Buffy not liking the idea of Kendra being a slayer makes me look at it a little differently.

It's always good when we see any kind of char. growth.

What I feel like is that even if Buffy stopped being the slayer to have a normal life that she wouldn't like it.

I truly always felt she would end up getting bored. Slaying was that much a part of her.

Sure when she got older but that's why I'm glad even the Comics Buffy didn't give up slaying.

It just would be too OOC for me.

I agree. No way would Buffy ever just give up slating.

The potential slayers or activating all the slayers could give Buffy a night off if she wanted to do something but if Buffy heard about any kind of big evil she wouldn’t just sit out and let one of the other’s handle it. That’s not in her nature. I agree that it would be OOC.

She has already seen it all basically. I can't see her doing anything more than go on vacation as long as she can slay that is.

Based on everything we know about Kendra if she had lived I don't see her just ever walking away either.

lol Yeah, like I said I loved Buffy's face when Kendra said she was a vampire slayer too.

SMG is one of the best when comes to reactions & just subtle things in acting with just her eyes.

It kills me how underrated SMG is as actress. She deserved an Emmy for Buffy for many scenes.
