Ironically, Kendra's initial reaction to Buffy's insistence on doing things her own way instead of following orders was to retort, "No wonder she died."

The First Evil was rumored to appear to Buffy in the form of Kendra sometime during the show's seventh season, but Bianca Lawson was busy with other projects. This has never been confirmed.

Bianca Lawson was originally cast to portray Cordelia Chase but she had scheduling conflicts so the role was given to Charisma Carpenter. The crew then offered Lawson the role of Kendra which she accepted.

Bianca Lawson later guest-starred on Bones with David Boreanaz

Is that really true cause I haven't heard about her being Cordelia at first till now. Always heard SMG was up for the role first, then she got Buffy. I would of loved for her to come back as The First, recently said she should have. Epecially when Buffy probably felt guilty about her death. She should of appeared to Faith too since her death is what caused Faith to be called.

I can’t see her as Cordy either. Can’t even see SMG as Cordy for that matter

I think in the end they ended up perfectly cast and the show wouldn’t be the same had they been cast differently.

It would have been so cool had she been the first, but I understand people have other obligations
