Off Topic #5 - We have to more to discuss than Michelle, although we still love her
From the previous thread
Yeah, they would air it on the CW unless they tone it down. I don't know if they would show it on HBO, since it is a teen show. |

Finally a new thread
That's the reason why they probably shouldn't do an American version Do you watch FNL (Friday Night Lights)? They had such a powerful episode this week __________________

I know Our last thread took us ages to finish.
I agree. It should just stay as the British version. I don't watch that show. It was never shown on normal tv. I think you needed a set top to see it. |

I hope it won't take as long to finish this one
Skins should stay as British I wonder if this is the last generation or if they will introduce a new one next year. You should give FNL a try, it's a brilliant show. It aired on NBC during its first season but then moved to Direct TV. It airs on NBC later but you can find places where to watch the episodes right after they air on Direct TV. __________________

Me, too.
It should. I have no idea. I kind of miss the first generation so much. I know the first season is already out, so I could see if I can watch it. Wasn't it a movie first before a tv show? |

We gotta keep this going
How did you feel about the second generation? I still haven't started S3. FNL was a movie first I haven't seen it, but I don't think it has that much in common with it, especially now that it's on its 4th season. There are some connections in the cast, I believe some of them where in the movie and also the director/creator had something to do with the movie. __________________

We do
I like the second generation. Some characters I love more and that was the same with the first generation. Okay. I think I saw a bit of the movie, but I can't really remember. |

Who were/are your favorites from the 1st and 2nd generation?
I haven't seen the FNL movie either but you don't have to see it, to understand the show. __________________

My favourites from the first generation were Cassie, Maxxie and Chris. I like Tony sometimes, especially in the second season. My favourites from the second generation are Emily, JJ and Naomi.

My favorites were Jal, Tony and Chris. Tony was crazy in a good way in S1 and it was nice to see a different side of him in S2. Chris was always entertaining And Jal was just awesome and a great friend to them all.
I have a (really) unpopular opinion when it comes to the show. Cassie was actually one of my least favorite characters Her constant 'wow' and 'awesome' kind of got on my nerves __________________

I agree about Tony, although he got on my nerves from time to time in S1. Chris was. I got all sad when he died Jal was
I love her 'wow'and 'awesome' There's something about Cassie that I love. I felt so bad for her when Sid screw her over with Michelle. |

Yeah, Tony was a bit too crazy in S1 I was so sad to see Chris die, he and Jal were so cute They were my favorite couple among the 1st generation.
Like I said, I know I'm in the minority when it comes to Cassie I kind of felt bad for her over the whole Sid/Michelle thing but then again I don't really blame Sid and Michelle for it. I saw the first episode of S3 yesterday. Don't know how I feel about it yet but right now I like Emily and Naomi the best. I thought both Cook and Freddy were jerks, especially Cook. __________________

He was indeed It was so depressing when he died, but I thought it was hilarious what Tony and Sid did.
I actually blame Michelle and Sid for everything I really didn't like either of them at all, especially Michelle. Yeah, Cook is such a jerk and it was kind of annoying that him and Freddie were fighting over Effy all the time. |

It was hilarious It was also very touching and Jal's speech at the funeral made me cry
I don't actually like Sid and Michelle either that much, but I do like them more than Cassie I know there's going to be some kind of Cook/Effy/Freddie triangle but I hope it doesn't take up too much of S3. __________________

It was I love how Jal told Sid and Tony to take Chris back.
I like them less than everyone else. I find them both annoying and I don't really like Anwar either. Yeah, there is. The triangle is pretty messed up. |
