Twilight alum Cam Gigandet is set to star in Marco Ristori’s (House Of Evil) action-drama Wreckage, which Double Dutch International is launching sales on in Cannes.

Currently in pre-production, the project charts the story of man who finds himself trapped in the rubble of a building following a terrorist attack. His only contact with the outside world is a compassionate counter-terrorism agent on the other end of his cell phone. Script comes from A.J. Ferrara and producers are Alexia Melocchi (Soul Journey) and Graem Luis (Delinquent).

“We are very excited to bring Wreckage to the world market. It’s a very intense movie with a surprise ending. Cam Gigandet is perfect for the lead role,” said DDI chief Mark Padilla.

Following a terrorist attack, a man is severely injured and finds himself trapped in the rubble of a basement in a collapsed building. Suffering from PTSD, he has no memory of how he got there and struggles to stay alive with only his cell phone as his lifeline. A compassionate counter terrorist agent is his only connection to the outside and to helping him come out alive.

I am assuming this role would be Emilie's? It sounds like it could be interesting and like maybe Emilie's voice acting will be used a lot.

Hmmm, that sounds interesting - certainly a lot better than Scorned, lol. It’s not typically my kind of film, but at least I’d find it easier to sit through than Lifetime tv movies..

More movies you MIGHT have heard of are,

The Scarlet Letter with Demi Moore and Gary Oldman.
Horror movie called Captivity with Elisha Cuthbert (kind of gross and creepy)

The Lovers with Josh Harnett

He does a lot of dramas, he was well received in the 80's. I mean, he produced that movie, Super Mario Bros. back in the day.
