Emilie de Ravin - Emilie to play Belle on Once Upon a Time!

Starting this up apart from the EdR Current News thread. It's probably one the most exciting things she's done since Lost ended. And with her episode getting close to filming, we might get lucky with some set pictures.

So, yeah, Emilie will be guest-starring on the twelth episode of the new hit show, Once Upon a Time. She will be playing Belle from Beauty and the Beast!

A network spokesperson confirms to The Hollywood Reporter that Emilie de Ravin is joining the fantasy series for Episode 12 airing early next year, as first reported by TVGuide.com.

Ravin will be playing the series’ version of Belle from Beauty and the Beast. The network didn’t disclose any further details on the role, though she’s reportedly connected to the creepy Rumpelstiltskin (Robert Carlyle). Currently, she’s only appearing in one episode.

Ravin played Claire on Lost. One of the survivors of Oceanic Flight 815, she was a single mother who gave birth on the island. She has also appeared in the Robert Pattinson film, Remember Me, the horror film, The Hills Have Eyes, and she played the mysterious Tess on the late-90s alien series, Roswell.
Lost actor Alan Dale plays Prince Charming’s father on the series, as well. ABC recently picked up the series for a full season order.

Once Upon a Time airs Sundays at 8 p.m. on ABC.

I've got something! It's not spoilerish, since the person isn't revealing anything except that's it's really good. Yay! lol

Here it is:

This is the Belle episode, by the way. And the fairytale side of things is quite interesting. Seriously, these writers are total geniuses. (I know I'm being a total tease, but I am not going to reveal it because it's definitely something worth waiting for. And no matter how tempted you may be, please don't ask me to spill. Just believe me when I say that it's really good.)

This is so exciting. I hope this thread gets filled with photos soon.

Reading that her episode has something worth waiting for makes me wonder if it's a big reveal. And if she's in a big reveal episode that's even better because it may make her character important.

lmao. It's an easy mistake. I actually made that graphic with the person who made the second graphic in mind because she loves the idea of Henry/Emilie.

I bet Ginnifer Goodwin is excited to meet Emilie. She's a HUGE Lost fan, when she was on a talk show she said the show was like crack to her, lol. She also retweeted TV Guide's tweet about Emilie being cast as Belle.

I hope Snow and Belle have scenes together.
