Beastmaster reruns on Sci Fi start 9/27

Link to Sci Fi:

I don't get extended cable anymore. I just looked at the site to see if Invisible Man was ever going to be on DVD. But there it was, on the homepage, starting 4 pm Central/ 5 pm tomorrow (Monday). As Curupira, Emilie transcends her knobby green coiffure.

Thanks for the reminder, pixiedude.

It totally slipped my mind that it starts airing today. She doesn't show up until episode six, right?

Yes, in the ep "The Demon Curupira". I found this list of her tv appearances on a Curupira fan site:

http://mydlands.fanspace.com/emilie/filmography.html

it only lists her in nine eps. The series ran from 1999-2002, but it was shot in Australia, and she had to shoot Roswell in the US. I think she did one Beastmaster ep after she became a Roswell regular? Amazon.com has Region 1 DVD's for all three seasons.

Curupira was in 8 episodes - 5 of them in S1, and the other 3 in S2. She also appeared in a S3 ep, but it was a "flashback" episode showing clips of her in S1 and S2 episodes. All of her three S2 episodes were filmed after she joined Roswell (and after the decision to leave Beastmaster). The last two - "Iara" and "White Tiger", were written in part to write Emilie out of the show.

It was really strange to see how she looked on LOST last week with the pregnancy and all compared to how childlike she looked as a 17- year-old Curupira in 1999. Time sure flies...

It's too bad Ben's Curupira site disappeared. He had some great screencaps Leya could have used. I think his was actually the 1st site devoted to Emilie. Obviously he was a man of vision!

Regards to all,
Denny

yea, her face & body matured a lot.

Wow I remember when she first came on Roswell & was so young. she's still young but the years go by so quick.

My first exposure to Emilie was when Sci-fi started airing the Roswell episodes earlier this year. I'm really glad to be able to see her in her first role. She's so young still now. She was even younger back when these episodes were filmed. It'll be nice to see a comparison between then and now.

I caught an episode yesterday. I noticed that it was in widescreen. I don't remember it airing on regular TV like that.

It's funny watching this show.I love how you can totally hear the actors slip up their Australian accents. lol

According to Yahoo TV, her first episode airs tomorrow. With three, or four, more episodes airing this week too.

The "Demon Curupira" is scheduled today, the "Umpatra" is tomorrow, and "Circle of Life" is Thursday this week. All of them have lots of Curupira scenes.
