Sternbetrachter - I don't think you'll have to worry about that! But you might hear some other horror stories maybe... Mmmm... Actually, now that I think about it, that's a really good idea.... Thanks!
Wander- Thanks... It can be a boring country sometimes tho... Not much to do, anywhere. So you know. Tahra __________________

Tahra, I understand. I grew up in a rural area and was dying to move to a big city.
I got my wish, but sometimes I want peace and quiet. I guess the grass is always greener on the other side. __________________

Tahra I think he is still doing alot of the effect stuff in his studio I believe it's located in Wellington? I bet if you go there and ask around you might find out how to be an extra. That would be cool.
One of my good friends is from New Zealand she lived in Regent Whangarei but I haven't heard back from her in years ::weeps:: She went to Uni and got too busy for me. Good luck it would be awsome if you found out where they are shooting! __________________

Nah... The casting has finished. I know that much. I was going to, but it turned out all they wanted at first was a head shot and a full body shot... And that was going to cost at least $300, which I didn't have, being a poor flatting student and all.
So that's that. Yea, Weta Studio's... I know where that is, well roughly, I know the area it's in. It's near where I used to live with my mum when I was about 2 years old. Whangarei huh? That's such a country place... I gotta mate who lives there. She used to live near where I live now, but then her family moved. We were about 16 at the time. What Uni did your friend go to? I might know her, or know someone who knows her. Tahra __________________

LOL Yes it is very country, she hated it and I think she went a little wild once she got out and went to school I really really miss her! We used to talk on IM and she would laugh at how "american" I sounded and she would get mad at me when I said she sounded like an "Aussie".
Her name is Deajah Langley, to be honest I know she told me what school but I can't recall now. And yes I'm ready to invade NZ!! Hell not only would it be an awsome place to visit but my Colin is there as a bonus. __________________

'King Kong' gets two new cast members
Two New Zealanders have joined the cast of Peter Jackson's remake of King Kong. John Sumner, who played Giles O'Connor on Spin Doctors, and Craig Hall, who starred in a series called The Strip, will play cameramen who accompany Carl Denham (Jack Black) on his mission to Skull Island, to find the giant gorilla. The actors join Billy Elliot star Jamie Bell, Adrien Brody, Naomi Watts and Colin Hanks.

Spin Doctors is a band... But it was also a show here.... They took what was on the news that week, politics, that sorta thing, and "Spun" it around to make it funny.
They didn't take the sad news, just the Maori Fishermans Claims, and Seabed and Foreshore fights to make it funny... They had Maori and Pakeha and Samoans on it... It was pretty funny. This is John Sumner - Link to image if you can't see it Quote:
This is Craig Hall... Quite yummy, yes?? Link to image if you can't see it Tahra __________________
