Lyrics from :Like A Waterfall/CD Album Launch
Having posted a short clip from a new song that will be on "Like A Waterfall" on his offical site, we
now have this lyric to contemplate until we get our hands on the CD : Everyday I'd take you dancing in the garden. You could be my woman that would be fine. If you'd be my baby, I would drive you crazy every night and day... all of the time |

It's at the JM Live website (the European/UK branch)
James Marsters Live I can't wait to get reports from the LA concert he does this month. Just 2 weeks to that. We should know for sure then what songs made it onto the CD. Last edited by Berengaria; 10-14-2007 at 03:25 PM |

yeah,he said he wanted this album to be bouncy...to get us up out of our seats. And I think,if this is any indication...he will succeed at that. I have been humming and bouncing around the house to it all day.

And I guess, considering what he's calling the album...we can expect this one as well:
LIKE A WATERFALL (formerly Jealous Man) words & music by James Marsters Her hair fell like a waterfall She was young lean and long I thought she was betrayin' me Now I find I was wrong Freight train take me out of here I don't care where you're bound I just beat me a man tonight Who never done me wrong I just got to be goin' I just want to be outside Set me out in the middle of the desert tonight So I can howl to myself Love sings like a whipporwhill But she don't sing for me So I'm a goin down to Mexico They'll never find me She be up the hill in the mornin' I'll be mendin' the fence out back She be talking about little babies again And I'll be smilin' to myself Oh the road'll take me back company would be nice Better bring a bottle of wine tonight It might help break the ice Last edited by Berengaria; 10-14-2007 at 09:45 PM |

Yes, he says he liked writing that one because it's getting away from just telling stories about his own life... he didn't beat anyone up and has never hopped a train to Mexico.
But yes, his lyrics reveal a lot about the man. |

Oh, James.
He's taking the Johnny Cash approach, heh? Awesome. Plus, "write what you know" can get boring. __________________

Has anyone heard the song mentioned here?
What song is currently in your head? “Hey There Delilah” by the Plain White T’s. (from James' latest Q&A) PLAIN WHITE T'S - HEY THERE DELILAH LYRICS It's a song a guy sings about his girlfriend who is sooooo far away. The lyrics of that sound like they speak to what's on his mind. The guy wears his heart so much on his sleeve. |

Yoga Lady wrote to Steve,James' manager with some questions about the Album launch. He said the info could be shared. I was particularly interested in this remark:
Steve: I've obviously heard the new album and I think it's going to blow away everyones expectations! The producer and James both did an amazing job creating the perfect sounds. |
