Thanks for the new thread
I love that fanart, both are awesome. I remember seeing them before. |

I love how especially the first one has depicted Harry in a way that sort of looks like James

Interesting.
But I wonder, are we supposed to post links to sales here? I have a faint memory that there may be rules against that. |

Is there? I didn't know there was a rule against it.

I don't know either. I just have a dim memory of it. I should probably check

I see people recommending the Dresden Files audiobooks quite often on twitter. They're very complimentary of James. He really has quite a following for his readings. It's well-deserved

That's great! I'm usually not a big fan of audio books, but when he's reading, I'm all in

Yeah I'd never actually listened to one before. I did it for James
I'd say he definitely makes the Dresden books better with his narration. I'm not sure if I would for anything else. I like to read and imagine myself. |

Totally with you there! A part of the fun of reading is that I can spin my whole own world around the stories. Take it at my own pace, in my own way. Audio books sets the pace and the mood to much. (or they try and fail to do that, which is all the more annoying.)
But hearing him read is like a one man theatre performance on record |

I don't see a separate thread for audio work done by James, so I'd just like to report that Vampire Empire has a 4th audiobook due out in the fall...and the authors are now talking about book 5 in the series. It is not known for sure that James will voice it, but it seems really likely.

Good
I never really fell for the story arch of that series, as it was described in the promo. But for those who do follow those books, that's good |
