Cloak & Dagger - 1x03 "Stained Glass" Episode Discussion (June 14, 2018)

Tandy is on the run as Detective O’Reilly closes in on her, but the detective may not be after her for the reasons Tandy thinks.
Tyrone is desperate for answers and turns to Evita and her Auntie Clarisse, a Voodoo priestess, for help.

In the new Marvel series, Tyrone Johnson (Aubrey Joseph) is Cloak, a superhero endowed with the powers of teleportation and intangibility, with a link to the 'Darkforce dimension'.
Tandy Bowen (Olivia Holt) is Dagger, who can create 'daggers of light', heal people and purge addictions.
Although the pair are from very different backgrounds, they'll have to find some common ground to get the best out of their newfound powers.

Yeah, I'm wondering if the phone had incriminating evidence on it that they were going there to do something to Tandy. Cause... self defense.

That would be so good if the detective really just wanted to check up on Tandy and get her side of the story.

I mean Tandy probably thinks it's because of what she did but it's going to be for what she doesn't think.... so I'd think maybe it is that?

I don't agree with her stealing methods, but I do think she truly does deserve a break.

I wonder if it'll end up being stuff about Roxxon that the detective wants her help with or something. Who knows!

eta; okay I rewatched episode 2 and I think the phone theory could be right! I totally missed the first time around that the detective had brought in the stabbed guy's friends for questioning and had showed them some sort of social media posts (I think) that perhaps are rather incriminating.
