That's silly. Everyone announces things like that in their own time. Plus why does it matter which one tells her? I've read she heard it from Carisi first. They are both her friends so she should just be happy for them & not care about where she learned it from.

Maybe. Everyone carries differently but I found it odd she was very showing in the pics I've seen & it was only just being revealed. Normally it'd just be that 12 weeks you'd wait unless you've had issues (which I don't remember her having). But still Olivia sees Carisi, not Rollins, so hearing it from him instead of her shouldn't be that big of a deal .

Do they say she's 5 months along or it just looks it? It could be she's not far along, they just purposely made her showing because of the magic of TV where you need to show to prove you're pregnant. Or they're going down the 'you show sooner in future pregnancies' path & decided that means she needs to look really pregnant even if she isn't far along.

She looks 5 months along, no confirmation and she sees Liv later in the episode so it's obvious how preggers she is.

The other reason for her being so apparently far along is by the time the new season starts, she'll have had the baby and maybe it opens the doors for more SVU returns?

She does comment on the last episode how she likes teaching but she doesn't love it and how she feels bad because Carisi made the call to get her the teaching job.

That could be why they're doing it too. It seems very odd to have her far along, as why would they not be telling people? Plus I find it hard to believe that Rollins would've disappeared from everyone's life? Especially for months. She specifically tells Olivia that she isn't Elliot. So to say she was gone long enough to get that pregnant goes against that.

I think they wanted to push the timeline so that she wouldn't be pregnant come Season 25.

I didn't feel she was that far along, but I only watched two clips from her first OC episode and I did not focus in on her stomach area. It would be interesting if their goal is to have the pregnancy run between the seasons so they can bring her back.

Yeah but after watching the episodes it was like they were trying to hide a bit how far along she was but it was pretty far in from what it looked like.

I hope by the new season we find out exactly but they kid could be 1 year old by then.
