Pencil drawings I think are the hardest to do because of the one coloured pencil.

Maybe. Drawing at least allow for erasing easily. With the right tools you can erase specific areas to help bring out the white or clear space for something else. I wouldn't be surprised if they did the text outline, then the colour behind/around, then the darker background. Having a consistent & smooth background can be hard to do. They did that, & the smooth skin well

I (try) drawing as a hobby so have some understanding. But still amazed at what people can do Especially when it comes to drawing people

When I was in school and we had art class. I could 'draw' basics but facial features and TERRIBLE at hands!

I can't draw people at all. I've done some sketches back in school but not since. I prefer landscape/nature. People are not my forte at all
