Lower middle class, new-to-Constance. Half-sister of Julien. She is not a follower by any means.
She wants to be a playwright, and is definitely afraid of being sucked into this new world and having her goals derailed.

Yeah, especially when it's obvious that she doesn't get along well with the others, they're often too different from her and she can't find stuff in common (also she can't resist calling them out)

If her friendship with Shan grows in S2, they'll need their own thread

I've only seen the one episode but I can tell as of now she hasn't really found her place. And yet I can't wait to see how she grows. I'd love her to stay not caring about GG, and stuff. But that seems so hard.

Yeah, her not caring to "fit in" and about GG in general is interesting, surely something "new". GG is not easy to resist, though...

I hope she can stay that fresh. Because in the OG even the "outsiders" eventually fought to get in and changed.

Yeah I agree. It is unique but I honestly wonder how it can last the entire series (or if it even does)

She surely gets more "into" this world, but I feel even at the end of the season, thanks also to a new character called Shan, she can still be the Zoya we meet at first, somehow.

That makes me happy to hear....and it doesn't surprise me that she will get at least somewhat into the world.

She has a moment in episode 4 where she gets too involved in those schemes and acts of spite, but you a forgive her, she's 15. She's surely has character and even though sometimes I think well, dear Zoya, the world isn't always black or white, still I like her way of dealing with Julien and her world.

She seems to be your favorite character for now, am I wrong?
