I agreed with you. They had potential to tell a positive story here with them. Instead they told a story which just showed they had absolutely no idea what they were doing. Then thought they could mess around with people's emotions & hearts, then in the future patch it all up like nothing happened. When in reality they left it as Audrey & Aki deserved each other if they couldn't treat others with respect. Which is a far from the Aki we first met, or even the potential hinted at when Audrey & Aki promised all three or nothing. They may just be selfish & confused teens, but they broke Max when he already struggled to trust & let people in. No one deserves to be treated the way they treated him.

I think they changed Aki so much since 1b. He could still grow and learn how to stand by himself and what he likes and who he is without having to become someone who doesn't care about others or respect other people (especially Max) anymore.

The pact was clearly there more because they were hoping to use it to break them up, but still it could have gone differently.

i 100% agree with this. the writers had no idea what they were doing. they should've thought things through better.

The problem is that it made perfectly sense and it was good writing, for them, because they were "teens" and this was new to them.
