I think they mostly do it because it is easier to work with an adult. Doesn't matter if that person is in their late 20s or in their 30s, so long as they can look the part

Yeah, that's for sure. But still working with minors makes things complicated, so I guess they try to cast adult actors for teens anyway, of course they have to look the part.
If he's her brother, he'd have a different last name only if he has another father. __________________

I meant one child could have parent's last name & the other child could have the other parent's last name. They also could've had a hyphen name for the first child then decided for the second not to do that as maybe they realised it was too long or part of the name got dropped anyway. One of the parents could've had a hyphen name or they might have chosen to hyphen their names when they married & then the children could have one name from each side of the hyphen. You surprisingly have a lot of options when it comes to naming your child (including making up an unrelated name I think).

Still it's confusing to explain when the person is just a fictional character, like it's simpler to give them all the same last name and that's it.
In the first episode Shan said she's not an only child, but didn'0t say more. Also Zoya was surprised Shan is rich?? __________________

I admit that the dinner was the first time I really enjoyed Shan. Like she really tried to help Zoya and asked her family to collaborate and everyone tried to be nice. Her little brother was nice, I liked her mother too.
