I opened it last year after the show ended, since she was a kinda important character in 1b. I'm not a big fan of her character, she's okay, but often I thought she wasn't a great friend for Zoya.

I'm ususally not a big fan of Shan's style, anyway. She's too much for me.

She is a unique person

True, just a little too much for me :lol: even in the way she acts, I was surprised Zoya became her friend, even though you can easily let yourself get carried away by other people.

Maybe her uniqueness & free spirit is what lured her in. It can be compelling to some, especially if they are feeling constrained

The thing is that Zoya never felt welcomed or part of her sister world. It went a little bit better in 1b, when she interacted more with the other friends of Julien, but overall she was never part of that group. Surely she was lured in by her free spirit, but I'd have preferred a different friend for her. Zoya already likes to get into trouble, she didn't need a friend who helped her with that.

I have difficult time with interacting with people like her in real life too.
