For me & shipping I sometimes care too much to not want to know, other times need to know all. I don't ship any of the couples in this though so no motivation there :shrug:

It amazes me, remembering how poor they promoted S2 and the way they completely neglected the show this past year after S1.

They really rely on people talking about it on social media I guess? And it works :confused: I mean it's not like they have super famous actors in the cast and also very few of them work in other shows or movies between seasons.

Still promoting is never too bad, imho. Unless they believe that being it a streaming show it doesn't need promotion because everyone can watch it anytime so they believe it's useless to promote it when it's not "current". Still having a bit of promotion to keep the interest alive would have been nice.

Unless the consider filming pictures taken by paparazzi part of promotion (and even free one)

I have no idea what their thought process is but clearly it works & that promotion doesn't need to be done if it still is rating well. Even if we both don't agree with it

Even right now I noticed for example that The Sex Lives of College Girls and White Lotus are constanly on their IG accounts since their premiere, especially the hbomaxpop one (who aimes to younger audience, I think), while GG barely appears there now, when during S1 they used to post about GG more. Maybe they think it can go on on its own?

They care more about promoting first seasons than later ones. But I can't explain why they would now not be promoting GG

The only reason I can think of is the budget was over :lol:

I feel like that is always the case, promote early then less later.

I get it, just I find id absurd, especially when nowadays streaming platforms especially always need the engagement and stellar numbers to renew stuff.

GG this season lacks of episode promos even.

I find it odd that they had one of the cast promoting the show now (Whitney on TKCS), not that I've watched her interview but it does mention GG in the title I'm pretty sure. At least it was something though
