I feel like giving Monet a girlfriend is a later on down the track storyline. She's so driven & knows what she wants to do with her life & how to get there (in her opinion). That's her drive & focus & having a girlfriend would just be a distraction

I agree, also I think she believes love is for weak. Safran said that all Monet loves is Monet, Savannah hinted at "tears", so I wonder if in S2 she'll understand that love isn't a weakness and that she can be loved for what she is and still be powerful.

Yeah I get the impression Monet is all about Monet. That comes across strongly in the first season imo. She'd need to have a revelation of some kind to connect with someone beyond the flings

Maybe when she meets a person that can demonstrate her so, like a girl who's powerful and cool and has life goals, but who's still interested in love. She has to fall hard for someone, I think, to rethink some of her views.

Yeah she needs someone who can compliment her & keep her interest/get her to fall hard. Someone who's also driven but can give her the passion may be good. They can go off on their own things but come together when needed in a way
