I saw icons on Tumblr, but are bigger than 100px. Fanarts are rarer to be found, it's mostly gifs. I did some (especially gifs) and posted them on my Tumblr, but they're Akimax only. I posted a few on their thread. Oh and I made the two GG icons I used here on ff
I wish people did more! But icons were a Livejournal thing, it's rare to find icons on Tumbr now __________________

Art in general seems a little bit of a dying art. Mostly gifs are made
 It is at least something but not the same. Then harder when you want to use icons on sites like here where you still can use them__________________

I was thinking about this a while ago, looking at all my fanarts folders, especially Nikita ones. I didn't know how to make gifs then and I used to make picspams with textures - on Tumblr there were resources pages with lots of cool textures - and also icons. I loved making icons, I posted them on Livejournal. Do you remember all the fanarts I used to do for the Smash board, Chelle?
Looking at all the stuff I made I'm like: why no one makes such things anymore? Even I got lazy, because of gifs and I hate it. When I post on Tumblr stuff that aren't gifs, it doesn't get lot of attention. With the new GG I made basically only gifs, just twice I tried to make a picspam with a tiny gif in it. I did the cover of my Akimax playlist on Spotify  Personally except for few exceptions (like Nikita), I only make shipping fanarts and for example with the new GG I don't have a lot of Akimax solo material. Season 1A had some, but with 1B is impossible to have material, because it's almost all throuple stuff. 100x100 icons were probably went out of fashion with the decline of forum boards and Livejournal. As I was saying, I made a few just for myself only to use them here  the fact that no one would use them doesn't inspire me to make some  __________________

I am not happy with the Akimax ones. The colouring of the pictures weren't good. But there wasn't really much options for pictures anyway. Just the trio as I think you've mentioned __________________

Yeah, the bath house scene has terrible colors, it's difficult to get rid of all that orange
There are screencaps of all episodes on screencapped but it requires to sign in. Is screencap.net download ones or are they in their gallery? I get why they did it but such a shame it is all download now.

They have both galleries and download. I agree, galleries are often better if you aren't interested in ALL scenes and you don't need the whole episode. Also IG can be interesting for pics, GG characters have their own accounts, so often there are lovely pics. GG accounts also posts lots.
It's just one, but here's the other icon I made for GG to use it here, the first one. The second is the one I'm using right now. I used a IG pic  __________________
