You've been added  welcome:)

Is it true that GG is coming to Netflix??

fox24 09-20-2014 04:45 AM

Yes it's coming in October should be fun

Sarita234 09-26-2014 08:13 PM

Yay! how exciting. I saw the series for sale today at big lots and I was wondering if anyone who has the DVD know if CMM or AB did any commentary on the season one or season two dvds???

I'm so excited to watch Chad's newmovie coming out. I mean, Tristan Dugray will always be my favorite character for him (and I know he's said that his fave too) but it's cool to see him in something I'll actually watch. Usually he does indie stuff that I do not even want to watch, no matter how much I enjoy his work.

My Trory  Oh how good things could've been.

fox24 09-27-2014 03:46 AM

What is his new movie?

ASP and DP are the only ones who did commentary during an episode; it's S5 on the episode You Jump, I Jump Jack. They mention how lucky they were with casting teenage guys and name almost all of them except CMM, as though Tristan was never a character (possibly on purpose, since Logan was around by then and they probably didn't want us to be reminded of the original conception).

In the special features on S1, you can watch Rory's Dance with trivial bubbles popping up throughout the episode. I guess that's what they did before commentary became a thing.

They still do those on Disney channel movies sometimes they can be funny. Sometimes frustrating tell you things you already know

jayta 09-28-2014 02:45 AM

I wonder if they realized how much people latched onto Tristan?

I swear Logan was the 'remedy' giving us a semi-ending to what should have been Tristan. I mean if they had substituted Tristan the college years, as if that would not have happened?

I always felt like Logan was a Tristan wanna-be character.

fox24 09-28-2014 04:30 AM

I think they would have given Tristan a journalist uncle and had a bit of a similar experience

musicalredhead 09-28-2014 07:23 AM

Even if it wasn't journalism, if Tristan was supposed to take the family business (or just go into business, finance, likely), his mother could tell Rory she 'doesn't have it' and wants to have a big career, so it wouldn't work out. It'd be the same WASP culture.

fox24 09-28-2014 07:37 AM

True they could also give Tristan a Shira type mother

Left Behind! :) Sadly it won't even get to the cinemas here in Sweden :pout: So I'll have to wait for the DVD!

fox24 09-30-2014 02:37 PM

Gracie 10-01-2014 10:53 AM

 I'm reliving the Tristan episodes since they just added Gilmore Girls to netflix streaming :)

Undeniable 10-01-2014 11:33 PM

I know. That's so exciting! :yay: I've got s1-3 on DVDs but it's been a while since I watched I must admit.

And hey Gracie! :wiggle:

Right now I'm rereading The Beginning of a Beautiful Friendship. One of my fave Trory fics! https://www.fanfiction.net/s/394356/...ful-Friendship
