Emily Michel would've been awesome. And yes it's a shame we got no Richard Lorelai scene during his rehab. But then we got nearly none E/R scenes as well.

Emily and Michel would have been so awesome. Their scene in 601 is probably one of my top ten GG moments.

They're great together! However,I didn't like Michel's bnehaviour towards her in 6x01! I preferred him in Emily in the wordeland or 7x03! It was too funny to see Michel so fascinated by a group of little girls!

Because Rory should have got her own clothes. She was old enough, she had a car.

I think this was the start of Emily trying to control Rory's life, which didn't work any better than it had with Lorelai.

Rory had lots of freedom at first. Only changed after they found out about the sex thing.

She didn't exactly ask her if she wanted to go. She asked if Rory's other clothes would be at school and Rory answers kind of sad, no at Mom's. Emily gets she doesn't want to go there and says she takes care of that. Of course Rory didn't interfere with it. She didn't even want to see her mom in 604.

I have to agree with Mareike! Moreover,it's not that Rory has ever complained about Emily's controlling behaviour before leaving,so partly it's her fault,too!

Back on the thread topic,I'm curious to know what you think Richard and Lorelai's relationship will be from the finale. All "Sweetheart" or will they come back to "Lorelai!" sometimes?
