Jess and Dean may not have been able to buy her expensive ugly desifner bags, or whisk her away to New York for a weekend to stay in a luxury hotel and buy expensive clothes, but at least what they did do with her or buy for her, was with their own money that they worked for to earn. They didn't just throw down their father's credit card and get what they wanted. So everything they ever did was so much more meaningful. The overly rich, like Logan and his family, make the world worse. They are able to thrive in a ridiculous lavish lifestyle while others struggle. Eat the rich.
It brings it to when Logan fans say Logan was best for her because they did fun things together. Well, sure. Logan is rich, has no responsibilities and he CAN just go away for a luxury weekend. He can just buy expensive gifts whenever he wants. However, they do romanticise the "fun" because the majority of it, was Logan getting drunk with his friends and wanting Rory to join them. __________________

Yes it's easy to have fun when you are loaded and have zero responsibilities. Logan's entire appeal to his fans is his money. He is defined by money.

His personality is his money.
Or, my new favourite way to describe Logan - his personality being that of a broomstick. __________________

And all the fun they had was always orchestrated by him. Did they ever do anything that she wanted to do and that he enjoyed. Can you imagine him browsing in a bookstore, or having a movie marathon. He would be bored in 5 minutes.

He doesn't have an interest in that side of Rory's life.

Of course he doesn't. That world is beneath him.

I mean, when he next visits the town, it's almost a decade later and he and his privliged friends break windows with golf balls. He has zero respect for where she lives. And he's a 35 year old man doing this. It's pathetic.
https://www.reddit.com/r/GilmoreGirl...m_source=share This annoys me so much. __________________

Logan's thing is these grand gestures that he thinks are romantic. But they're not grand (in a good way) or romantic. It's him showing off, being flashy, using manipulative tactics and he ends up embarrassing Rory. He does this multiple times before and during their relationship. It's really pathetic.

Yes, the proposal is a good example. This grand gesture done in front of 100s of people, that put Rory in an awkward position and that also took away her graduation party. The party that was her, for her night and Logan makes it about him.

Add to that her graduation day. He makes that about him too by breaking up with her because she said no to his proposal.
