Rory didn't understand what friends with benefits/casually dating means.

Logan didn't understand what it meant to view things from someone else's prospective when it comes to a relationship.

Logan ,unfortunately, was used to his companions being just that . Company while he did the thing he intended on doing . Unfortunately, I feel like Rory conformed to his ideas even after they officially started dating. They went to parties that Logan or someone Logan knew threw, they went to bars with Collin and Finn , they went up to New York, or supposedly Martha's Vineyard . I am of the belief that alot of their relationship on it's good days and bad was Rory catering to Logan .

100%. It was all about Rory fitting into Logan's lifestyle. He didn't care to know or fit into hers. He makes ONE visit to her hometown in their entire two years relationship and its right before they split. When he proposes and plans their life out, again, it's how she will fit around his life. It was never an even relationship.

I really don’t understand how there could be a new wave of Rogan fans after the revival. How anyone can find their situation interesting or romantic is beyond me. It wasn’t even a proper storyline. There was no buildup or explanation of how, what, when, or why. It’s just here is what they are doing and it was all to get her pregnant, and to add to the Rory is a lost mess arc. Such a disappointment.

They probably ignore the rival as canon. That's a comman thing with Rogan fans.

Those that do not ignore, do a couple of things though to make their storyline romantic: they don't find anything wrong with the affair. They explain it that RL are "in love" so they should just be together, so they think the affair is fine. Or, they say the affair isn't wrong because Odette and Logan "have an arrangement." Lastly, they say Logan is the father of the baby and that will be his kick to leave his family/Odette to be with Rory, so they can raise the baby and be together. Which, will literally never happen.

And nothing Logan ever did or bought for Rory was bought by him. It was bought via his dad's credit card. It makes everything all the less meaningful.

The bag was hideous and it shows how little Logan knows what Rory's taste is.
