I love that Keiko is team Jess. She is a smart gal.
https://eloquence-of-the-light.tumbl...-her-standards ‘ I can’t believe that Rory lowered her standards just so she could be with Logan. It seems like she just wants to be with him so she can get access to famous writers and the whole “I wanna be spontaneous like my mother.” And how come Lorelai doesn’t bash the men that’s been with Rory when they deserve it.? ’ That is so true on both counts. Rory never showed any interest in the type of guys that Emily would parade in front of her, of which Logan is a carbon copy, then bam...she sets her sights on him out of nowhere. And the only guy Lorelai ever really bashed consistently was Jess. __________________

I stumbled across this interview from when the revival was released and it’s very telling https://www.teenvogue.com/story/alex...n-relationship
I remember in that con Scott and Milo did they explained that they were always in the same scene. They knew the story they were telling. These 2 are on completely different ends of the spectrum. No wonder i just don’t buy it. “I think they were both in the same place at the same time,” Matt ysaid. “Rory and Logan have always had a love for each other that has gone back and forth, and they’ve never really wanted to say goodbye. They’re both in the same place at the same time in this particular story, so it’s a mutual relationship that they’re carrying on.” Matt also expressed that he believes that Logan has always pushed Rory to be the best version of herself possible – something that many of the cast members have echoed as well. Alexis had a slightly different take. She found their relationship somewhat surprising, especially after the ending of season 7. “I think it’s a little uncomfortable for [Rory] even though she’s kind of putting on a brave face that she’s fine with it,” Alexis explained. “I think she’s actually not that emotionally connected to it. I think she’s just kind of going through the motions….” Matt is deluded methinks. At least Alexis gets it. __________________

And Logan gets away with things not just because he is from a good family.but because he knows how to turn on the charm and swarmy smile.
https://surrealsunday.tumblr.com/pos...e-that-did-not This bit is so accurate and says in a nutshell why I don’t enjoy Rory when she is involved with him. ‘ And one of the things about Rory that could be hella annoying was how insanely privileged she was. It had the potential to make her very unlikable but was usually tempered by the characters surrounding her (such as Jess). Then you bring Logan in the mix and it highlights her privilege in the most exponential of ways.‘ __________________

Does anyone else feel like deep down Alexis herself prefers/likes Rory/Jess the most out of her character’s main pairings for her character or is it just me?
Maybe I’m thinking too much into this. But like I still love that moment at her Jimmy Fallon interview where he says he’s team Jess and the way she says I know. |

I always find it funny how desperate Logan fans are adamant that the parallel to Rory and Logan is Richard and Emily and not Lorelai and Christopher . __________________

I mean there are similarities but most of all I see him as like the type who never grew up/is still immature even more than Chris

the way that Logan proposed to Rory in season 7
I feel like Rory would much prefer something more simple and low-key which in my mind would be how Jess would propose |

Absolutely. Just the two of them on the bridge, and there would be book involvement for sure.
This is highly offensive but it did make me choke on my cuppa. https://www.instagram.com/p/CEHZOrVgLe8/ __________________
