Also, don't feel too bad about those survivor games, they're rather silly IMO. All that matters is our love for this character and we will always have this thread to appreciate him.

All I can say is thank God they went with him instead of making the character a woman. That would’ve been an entirely different series.

Yeah, I can't imagine the show without Luke as he is.

I think on Maisel, with Suzie, we get a glimpse of what Luke's character might have been like, had they kept him as a woman.

Yep, I got that vibe from Suzie as well. For some weird reason I can picture Alex in Luke’s role but not in Sookie’s for which she was originally cast.

Yeah, Alex definitely has the grumpy but loveable Luke vibe more than the vibe for Sookie.
