It has been a long time since I have been on the Gilmore Girls forum. I was quite surprised that the anti Jess thread was still going on.
What I perceived from the four episode run on Netflix; was that Jess had won, or was going to win.

The story had come a full circle. Jess running the diner and a coffee crazed Rory was going to be his best customer. Diner owner secretly in love with un-married woman, with a child. That is the main reason I stopped coming here.

Rory was quite ****ty in the reboot.

The article is fantastic and very accurate. I enjoyed reading it. I could never figure out why so many people were for R/J I did not realize so many people had no respect for themselves, and are self loathing.

Even on Fanfiction 75 percent of the stories are about R/J. A good majority of them start off like this. Rory and Jess broke up and Rory discovered she was pregnant, what will she do now?

Do you guys remember when I used to post anti Jess writings taken from the now closed TwoP website? I believe a Pammie was writing the episode summaries, and did she ever hate Jess.

Yes I enjoyed writing with you too. I am sort of retired from fanfiction although I still read if it's a good one. Just being called immoral and a racist from people who were signaling out Logans white privilege when Jess is white to just made me lose passion but I am still around
Not everyone likes jess I have met people in real life who like Logan and dean

I have more or less retired from fanfiction also, but I am thinking of writing a couple of short stories for Heartland.

I do go back once in awhile and read our Lindsay and Dean stories. We did good with both of them

I can't believe they would call you names like that just because you like Logan. I wonder what is wrong with those people.

Logan and Dean have their faults, but Jess is detestable, and I wonder how ASP glorified such a character.

There is this thing in the late 2010s where conversation can randomly resort to racism even if a situation had nothing to do with it. I could make jess a stereotypical sjw lol who whines on twitter.However, I dont want to go down that rabbit hole. I am going to finish my last rl story and maybe add some more family chapters to the one we were doing. I'll let you know if I get them

Looking back at Jess and his treatment of Rory in this day and age it is even more detestable. Perspectives certainly have changed in this new environment.
