I don't know how the legality of it all works, although I do know one of my friends who had a destination wedding (Dominican Republic) & managed to get a license in the States with no issues?

Destination weddings are different because they're planned in advance. Generally they've jumped through the proper hoops and have all the necessary papers to make sure their marriage is legal back home and not just like vow renewal ceremony that's not legally binding.

I really don't see any chemistry between them. And I hate him calling her "Lor".

Ugh, I hate it when he calls her "Lor" and frankly it was very well-written into the show that no other character does it except for Christopher.

Like I get that they have history together and they have a kid together but I never really saw the chemistry they wanted us to believe in. I didn't mind Christopher in S2 when he came for Rory's debutante ball, and at that point I could maybe see them together and then it fell apart (again) and I was over it. I don't know what would keep bringing her back to him except for the idea that they could be a real family. But just because you share blood with someone it doesn't make them your family.
