It really makes season 4 the superior season because Chris isn't there, existing, breathing and just ducking things up.

Yes! Season 4 is definitely the best season for multiple reasons but a huge reason being that Chris is not there and he is basically never mentioned either. It's great!

It's really wonderful haha. He's mentioned I think once, when Jason brings up he went to camp with him and I think that's it. It really shows how unnecessary he is. The show can go on fine wiryhout him being there. Then when he does come back in season 5, all he does is bring with him drama that we don't want.

It’s ridiculous that Chris couldn’t go to Rory’s graduation. Definitely could have figured something out to be there if it was really important to him.

Exactly. It wasn't important enough to him because Rory isn't important enough to his selfish ass. Tbh, he didn't deserve to be there anyway. The people who mattered in Rory's life were there to support her.

I really believe he only attended her Yale graduation because he paid for her final two years so he felt entitled to be there.

Oh definitely. He would have seen it as a benefit for him because it was something he paid for. Guaranteed though, if Lorelai and Luke hadnt broken up and had been married as planned, Luke would have been there and Chris wouldn't have.
