I love all of those. Luke will forever be greater than Chris. The last one in that post really defines the difference between them and why it will always be Luke and never Chris.

Yup, 100%. How anyone can come away from that episode and still think Lorelai should have ended up with Chris or that he's better than Luke, is beyond me. Literally HOW do you defend him or justify he was right for Lorelai??? How?

hugely unpopuluar opinion, but if this was Luke the fans would be all over how Luke was so willing to do so much for Lorelai, instead of calling him immature. He and Lorelai were starving in Paris, and you know how Lorelai gets when she doesn't have food. I wouldn't call giving his daughter money flaunting his richness? It's not like he was standing in the middle of the street with a sign saying look at me I have money.


First of all, Luke WOULD NEVER be that obnoxious and pay to have an entire restaurant open out of hours, no matter how much money he had.

Second of all, Chris literally says "I'm totally loaded!!" And "I'm rich!!" two things you would never hear be uttered from Luke's mouth, again, no matter how much money he has. Only Chris is gross enough to say those things.

Luke actually had money. Not Christopher level, but he can drop 30k just like that, so he isnt exacrly short of it. And never once does he flaunt it. He also didn't need to land into millions of inheritance to be able to pay for his daughter's tuition then try to buy her love.

Yep. Luke will always be better than Chris. When you see the differences laid out, it extra highlights how much Chris sucks as a person, partner and father.
