Same. It makes me squirm when Chris says anything, really. But especially when he says Lor or says anything about him and Lorelai and their relationship. And everything spoken in French Twist needs to be deleted from the show's existence.

I can't decide what's worse from that episode: his "That's what I'm talking about!" after they have sex. His yammering at the restaurant to get Lorelai to marry him, where he also gets in "I'm totally loaded!" Or the "Welcome home, Mrs. Hayden" at the end. Barf from start to finish.
It's a true abomination of an episode. It's like a horrific balcony buddies fanfic come to life.  __________________

It's painful that this episode is part of the show. You are right, it feels like a bad fanfiction put on screen. Everything about it is bad. The plot, the dialogue, everything with Lorelai and Chris. I hate that he pushes her to marry him. He's such a jerk who is only thinking about himself.

She says no to marrying him SEVEN times. And yet they still come home, married. How much more pushing did he do? And all the while he knows what he's doing. He knows she is vulnerable and he is using that to his advantage. He really is a crap hole of a person.

He is such a disgusting manipulative jerk. I hate when they get back home and he calls her Mrs Hayden, ew. The look on Lorelai's face says everything about how she really feels being married to Chris and it is far from something she wants. It is a look of complete regret.
