It's another moment where he gets Lorelai to coddle him too. He wants her to make him feel better because he was upset over the knitting event ending because he donated the money and Lorelai was annoyed the event ended. He didn't understand that throwing down the money like that for the bridge, wasn’t the point. So he has to pout and have Lorelai make him feel better. He's such a manipulative and pathetic loser.

Chris could just never fit living in Stars Hollow. He doesn't understand that life and that throwing money around to get what you want doesn't work there. Another reason why he and Lorelai would never work. Their ways of life and how they want to live it are different. Lorelai hates that privliged lifestyle. Chris claimed he didn't want it as a teenager, but truth is he loves it.

He didn't deserve to be there at the parents weekend. You actually have to parent to be one, and Chris never did that with Rory.
I hate that Lorelai coddles him. She needed to tell him that it was his fault he missed out on all these major events for Rory. __________________
