I do appreciate that this is the state of Lorelai and Christopher's relationship in the revival. They have a generic email relationship, of which Christopher doesn't bother to keep up with. Honestly, it's how it should be. They don't need to be in each other's lives now and really never did once Rory was an adult. Especially one she was graduated from college.

Truly unnecessary. Even more useless and unnecessary than the 20 minute musical.

I'm glad that boundaries were set and Lorelai refers to their relationship in the past tense. Because it was always supposed to be Luke.

Agree. Lorelai needed to set boundaries with Chris. Otherwise, it would forever keep causing problems in LL’s relationship.

Thank goodness we didn’t have to put up with LC drama in the revival!

She did the healthy thing for her, Luke and their relationship and that shows great growth.

Chris meanwhile, still can't seem to have a close relationship with his daughter, proving that if Chris can't have Lorelai, he really doesn't have much interest in Rory.

someone told me that his first line was a joke and he was just being a stereotypical biker guy, I said it didn't make it any less sleazy.

It's so sleazy and gross and just sums him up. I don't care if it's some in-joke thing between Chris and Lorelai, that it's all part of their banter, it's the fact he says that to her in front of their daughter. Proving as always, that the only reason he's there is to try and get Lorelai. Rory is always an afterthought. Also, to me it just shows how immature and superficial their banter is. It doesn't hold a card to the banter between Lorelai and Luke.
