That entire post is beyond ridculous. It's disgusting someome would defend his actions there. Not only does he try forcing having a baby with Lorelai, he then manipulates her by going into that mood. His insecurities are not justified at all.

Nope, not at all. Just because he got jealous over seeing Lorelai holding a baby with Luke, does not justify his insecurities. He was gross, what he said and tried to do were disgusting and he is nothing but a pathetic, jealous jerk. If he is so insecure in his relationship, then maybe he shouldn't have forced Lorelai to be with him and then force her to marry him. As if those weren't bad enough, forcing her to have a baby with him is vile.

I completely agree. He was wrong and there is no other way to twist it.

He was fully aware that Lorelai was still in love with Luke when he used her vulnerability to get her to be with him. If he feels insecure, it is all on him.

That's what grates me most about it all. He knew what he was doing, he knew she was vulnerable and he prayed on that. He knew she loved Luke and not him, but he thought he could manipulate her into not loving Luke and into loving him. He thought if he pushed her to marry him that would trap her to him and when he thought that wasn't enough, he thought he could trap her with a baby. He is so disgusting.

Yes that's exactly what he was trying to do, to trap her to him. She would have to stay with him if he managed to knock her up, now they were married. A double trap.

Yep, he thinks Lorelai would feel compelled to stay with him if they had a baby. However, that didn't work before, so..........

And you know Chris would go into his usual never there for the kid mode, passing the kid off on nannies and whoever would look after it. Basically, Lorelai would be raising the kid by herself and their marriage would crumble.
