That's a good point about things changing and getting better for Lorelai, once Lauren was a producer on the show. I can imagine it would not have been fun for her to play this fake version of Lorelai.

There's some comments that talk about Chris having a drinking problem and I agree that he does. Apparently he's carrying a flask with him in the s1 episode when the big Gilmore/Hayden dinner happens. If he's carrying a flask with him to a dinner where he knows drinks will be served, dude definitely has a drinking problem.
