ALL OF YOU shouldn't have been surprised. Not just part. Chris letting Lorelai and Rory down and not being there for them? Typical Chris.

Yep, exactly! Except not most likely. He flat out wouldn't have gone.

Exactly. He only has an interest in Rory if he is with Lorelai or is trying to weasel himself in with Lorelai. So you simply can't give him credit. He's also not really trying. He's using his money to make himself look good to her newspaper staff, who he doesn't even realise are not her friends, like he assumes. He really knows nothing about his daughter and never does know anything about her. The guy doesn't even know something as simple as how she takes her coffee. He's pathetic.

Oh right, those weekly calls that conveniently stopped after he went back to Sherry, when she was pregnant. I think the regular weekly calls he kept up for a few months, to impress Sherry. "Hey, look what a wonderful dad I am! Calling my daughter every Wednesday at 6:45am when she's getting ready to go to school!"

Yep, it's all about getting to Lorelai. That's the only time when he has an interest in Rory. And LOL Chris, you have to be around and you know, actually parent and be a dad to be able to use the "dad card." He's pathetic.
