Their whole season 4 storyline really is just heartbreaking
I adore the season 4 angst so much and another moment that gets overlooked is her behaviour at the beginning of Raincoats and Recipes which would have been after she drove home after Jess left. She was absolutely manic, talking non stop, doing her laundry and fussing around until Lorelai locked her in the bedrooom. This is the exact same behaviour she displayed after the first Dean breakup when she rearranged the furniture in the living room.

So our Geeked Out Nation reviewer has finished the revival and he was absolutely fuming at the ending, it was quite funny. He loved the Jess stuff and was frustrated that they only showed glimpses of Jess still being in love with Rory and I quote ‘there is your story right there and there is just not enough of it’ . Can’t argue with that.

He also feels that the only way her pregnancy situation can be redeemed is if it turns out that Jess is somehow the father and that if Logan is the father it is, I quote again, ‘a horrible horrible horrible horrible choice for this show.’ Can’t argue with that either.
