I don't understand why ASP thought Rory had to follow her mom's footsteps. Lorelai always wanted a better life for Rory, not have her get pregnant by a dude who's engaged to another woman. Blech.

They could have had the full circle simply with a pregnancy even with Rory you know together with the father of her baby, just let the kid be a girl and you have another generation of Gilmore Girls without being so repetitive.

ASP should've just focused on Rory's career. Being single is not a disease (and I hate when writers make it seem that way).

Honestly that would've been the better way to go, if Rory has a girl the "Gilmore Girls" automatically goes on.

Exactly - I'm not looking for shock factor with shows that I watch and I kind of like that Gilmore Girls always stepped away from that.

Wow, love this OP! Such great moments in Fall.

I agree, I am not looking for a cliffhanger with GG. It never was a show about cliffhangers. I was thinking if they wanted to go "full circle" they could have jumped ahead and shown Rory with a baby and naming her Lorelai. And they wouldn't have to reveal who the husband is if they wanted to keep all fanbases happy. They could have said, "Oh, he went to the gift shop. He'll back soon" or something
